Rowan Baubles Capelet

This cute little capelet/poncho with its bright jewel-coloured bauble motifs is a festive must! The piece is worked in one piece, flat, from the hem up in six shades of Alpaca Classic. The intarsia technique is used to achieve the spectacular bauble pattern. Once the piece has been knitted, the bauble edges are embroidered using chain stitch, and tiny tassels are made and added. Three sizes are available to make: to fit 3-6, 7-10 and 11-12 years).
